In order to make sure we are meeting the needs of all our Pre-k children in best preparing them for Kindergarten, we have developed our L.E.A.P program.  During their Pre-k year, 5-6 students will be selected per week to join our kindergarten friends during the 9-11:30 curriculum time.   This gives them a chance for peer tutoring by our kindergartners, a more detailed curriculum and challenges they can reach to prepare for kindergarten.  We rotate the children from the pre-k class, when they are ready, excited and can focus on more classroom structure.  Having l.e.a.p.  gives the teachers another tool to challenge the children who are ready with out frustrating the ones who are growing steadily in the pre-k class.  Our pre-k friends still engage in christian curriculum, gym, art, music and all parties and field trips.

in both classes the teachers utilize the multiple intelligence theory of teaching when developing curriculum.  We are fully committed to reaching each individual student;  to excite them about school and give them the best foundation for life long learning in all areas of development.

We believe by truly committing to reaching the whole child you need to include god, physical activity and health, as well as art, music, whole group, small group and individual curriculum.  A well rounded program will empower the children with control over how they feel and how they react to every day life.

Our large gym allows the children to develop socially, while releasing energy.  The come back to class ready to focus, engaged and excited.  In gym they learn team building, goal setting, and healthy living!

Our christian curriculum is a non-denominational, bible based class.  Through art, music and discussions they learn of the many bible stories and how god loves them.  we connect to community outreach and manners and kindness within the program as well.
